    Greetings! It is almost the end of the first quarter and I was enjoying looking at your web page. This is Patti Truesdell. I have been tutoring with my nephew Ethan. He is a fourth grader in Ms. Darch’s class. I am also new to the school board … I have been attending Site Based Councils in some local schools, and see you have an APC meeting coming up in November. I was reading your minutes … It looks like a monthly meeting that relates to your charter? I admit to be not very familiar with charter schools, but I want to learn more. Would it be appropriate for me to attend this meeting (to listen .. not participate) … I would like to begin to learn and understand how your school operates. Please let me know if that would be appropriate .. Again .. I am enjoying working with Ethan, and plan to continue to do that even as I begin my work on the Board.

      Hi Patti,
      Yes, you are absolutely welcome to any of our APC meetings, as those are all open to the public. The next meeting on November 6th is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. (this meeting date was changed to an evening time to hopefully allow an opportunity for working parents to attend). The meetings follow an agenda that is posted on the APC board in the front foyer a few days in advance. Topics range from committee reports, principal’s report and discussion items. Thank you very much for your interest and we look forward to seeing you when you visit our school!
